Privacy Policy

SoleCheck does not require an account, a name, an email address or a login. You may provide: a photo you choose to analyse; an optional nickname if you opt into the public leaderboard; an optional handle you choose to print on a Share Card; and the content of any message you send to our support address.

When you submit a photo, the image is sent to our analysis service, passed to our AI vision provider for scoring, and held only in memory for the duration of that request. The original image file is not written to our database and is not saved to file storage by SoleCheck. We do not build a photo library, and we do not use your photo to identify you.

Your browser and your device may still hold the photo you selected, and the AI provider processes the image under its own terms as our service provider.

Before analysis, a cryptographic SHA-256 hash is calculated from the uploaded image data and stored alongside the result. It is used to recognise a re-upload of the identical image so the same photo returns the same analysis instead of being re-analysed. The hash is used as a technical fingerprint for identifying identical uploads and is not stored as the photograph itself.

We store the generated analysis rather than the photo. That can include your SoleScore, the four category scores (presentation, grooming, composition, lighting), the tier, the short verdict, the standout, the Potential SoleScore, improvement opportunities and category explanations, an authenticity classification produced by our safeguard, a random public result ID, a random referral ID, an anonymous session identifier, and — if you opt in — your chosen leaderboard nickname.

Free results are retained and readable for 7 days from analysis. If you purchase a Deep Dive, that result is retained for at least 30 days from the payment; we never shorten a retention window that is already longer. A small number of results created before this retention model was introduced are marked as legacy and remain readable until deleted.

You can delete your own result from the result page while you still hold its access token in the browser you used, or write to us at support@adkintelligence.com. Records of purchases are kept for accounting and fraud-prevention purposes.

SoleCheck stores a few values in your browser’s local storage — not cookies — so the product works: an anonymous session identifier used to group your own activity, and the per-result access token that lets you manage, unlock and delete your result. Clearing your browser storage removes your ability to manage results created there.

Share links, challenge links, QR codes and Share Cards are designed to let you share selected result information. Anyone with a shareable result or challenge link, or who scans a QR code you choose to share, may be able to view the information made available through that sharing feature. A Share Card image you export contains the information printed on it. Share only what you are comfortable making public.

Leaderboard participation is entirely optional and off unless you opt in. When you opt in, the leaderboard shows a nickname you choose (or “Mystery Sole”), the score and the tier. Photos are never shown on the leaderboard.

We record first-party product events in our own database — such as page views, uploads, analyses, shares, downloads and Deep Dive checkout events — together with an anonymous session identifier, a coarse device type, any referral ID and campaign parameters present in the URL. We do not use Google Analytics, advertising pixels or third-party cross-site tracking.

The one-time $3.99 Deep Dive purchase is processed by Stripe. Card details are entered on Stripe’s checkout and handled by Stripe; ADK Intelligence LLC does not receive or store full payment-card credentials. We store the purchase record needed to grant access: its status, amount, currency, timestamps and the Stripe identifiers for the session and payment.

We use Supabase (database, backend functions and hosting of our backend), OpenAI (AI vision analysis of the submitted image), and Stripe (payment processing). These providers process information in connection with the services they provide to us, subject to their respective terms and privacy practices.

We use reasonable technical and organisational safeguards, including per-result access tokens stored only as hashes, server-side access rules, and server-side verification of paid entitlements. No online service can be guaranteed perfectly secure, and we do not claim absolute anonymity or any certification.

SoleCheck is intended only for adults age 18 or older. You must confirm that you are 18 or older before submitting an image. Do not submit images of anyone under 18.

We may update this policy as the product changes. The revised version applies from the “last updated” date shown at the top of this page.
